What are good excercises for the stomach, thigh and hip areas?

I'm going back to school in about 5 and a half weeks. I don't want to drastically lose weight, because I know that's unhealthy, but I'd like to at least lose some inches off my stomach, thighs and hips so I can wear a certain pair of jeans the first day of school. I jog once or twice a week, I do sit ups, crunches and run in place two or three times per week. I'd like to know some other effective ways to lose inches off those areas for all the other days of the week. Thanks!
