Ipod classic or ipod touch?

If I can, I would like to get the classic, but the only thing that is making me think twice is the hdd. is it durable, or does apple make or have they once made( I can buy used) an only flash memory classic? or should I get the 160 gb with the hdd? I like to jog, and I take my music with me whereever i go. so should I get that or the touch? Im not really concerned about apps, but I really love apple, and all of their products, and want to stick with them when it comes to pmp's. I really like music and movies, and I dont want to spend 400 dollars on a 64gb when I can spend 300, and get 160 gb.
